Kimberly S. Zellmer has practiced law in Kansas City since 1986, focusing in the areas of estate and trust planning, trust administration, special needs planning, business succession planning, premarital agreements, and private charitable foundations.  Ms. Zellmer was a partner at Husch & Eppenberger, LLC, before opening her own practice in 2004. 

 

Ms. Zellmer graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law where she was a Member of Law Review.  During law school, Ms. Zellmer clerked for Judge Charles Blackmar of the Missouri Supreme Court.  She received her undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of Missouri - Columbia, with an emphasis in finance.

 

Ms. Zellmer is licensed to practice in Kansas and Missouri.  She is a member of The Missouri Bar Association, The Kansas Bar Association and the Johnson County Bar Association.  She is a member and past Director of the Estate Planning Society of Kansas City.  She is a past Director of the Lawyers Association of Kansas City and past Co-Chair of the Heart of America Tax Institute.  Ms. Zellmer is a member of the Children’s Mercy Hospital Donald H. Chisholm Planned Giving Council and past member of the Planned Giving Committee for Kansas City Hospice and the Kansas City Art Institute endowment council.  Ms. Zellmer has spoken at many seminars on the topics of estate planning and probate.
 

Ms. Zellmer has been selected to Super Lawyers and has earned a Martindale Hubbell AV preeminent rating by her peers for the highest legal ability and ethical standards.
